Crazy for Cocoa C4CC17 Challenge

Well another week another Crazy for Cocoa Challenge. Boy, these weeks are just flying by. I had so much fun working on this card. Cocoa is still off somewhere doing something and has left all the gardnening to Cookie. Well Cookie must have gone out to buy this new polka dotted vase to plant her new flowers in and a new dotted ribbon for her hair so she'd look pretty while she was gardening. LOL. Down to business: I stamped the image onto Whisper White card stock with Momento Black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I matted it onto Pretty in Pink card stock. I ran a portion of the white background card stock through the Big Shot with the Swiss Dot ef (you can never have too many polka dots). I then stamped the sentiment which is from DeNami Designs in SU's Chocolate Chip ink. Both the brown and purple designer papers are from that famous stash of mine. The card base if SU's Crumb Cake. A couple of pink brads with purple dots in the center helped to finish this card off. I hope it brings a note of spring to mind. Thank you for stopping by today.

  2. Just look at you posting 2 cards today! You're on a serious stamping roll my friend :)
I am loving all the polka dots you added to your card today, especially in Cookie's hairbow!! The matching flowerpot and swiss dots embossing really pull this all together for one great spring card! Thanks for playing along with the Cocoa Crazies this week - nice job!!!
BTW, you're not alone! I often take more than 5 hours to make a couple cards, and they can even find a home in the waste can after many hours of laboring over them! LOL I love those days when I can put a card together in 15 minutes, but that doesn't happen very often!
