Distressed Embossed Pattern Paper Card

Hi Everyone,
Today I used a technique that I saw over at Gina K Designs called Distressed Embossed Pattern Paper. Maybe a lot of you know about this technique, but it is new to me. My paper is a two toned purple striped paper that came from that stash of mine. I ran it though a SU embossing folder and then distressed it with SU's Elegant Eggplant ink. I used SU's Certainly Celery ribbon as well as the card base. My sentiment is from Gina K Design's Love Notes set and was cut out and matted with both oval and scalloped oval Nestabilities. I sponged the image with Lavender Lace ink from SU. It was a pretty easy card to make, but I do like the effect you get with this technique. Enjoy your Saturday, see you tomorrow.
