S & S Mid Week Throw Down

Hi All,
I'm back. Last week I had a super busy week and never got to make any cards and don't you know that two days ago when I finally got cards made and was going to post them, Comcast problems and I could not even get on the computer. How disappointing.
Anyway Over at Operation Write Homes' Stars and Stamps blog the Mid Week Throw Down is to make a Summer time Fun themed card. I picked an image from Stampin Up's retired set titled Summer By The Sea. I colored it with Copics and cut it out and matted it with Nestabilities. The sentiment is from A-Muse and was cut out using the Modern Label Punch from SU and matted on the oval and Scalloped oval punches, also from SU. The blue paper is from my stash and the green designer paper is from Basic Grey. I hope some little boy enjoys receiving this card from an overseas deployed military person. I'll be back with more postings real soon. I've got to get a couple in before something else goes wrong with this computer and/or Comcast.

  4. This is just so calming and fun I love the DP and especially the die you used on the main image! I love those razor edges against the black, what a great look!

  5. I've looked at this stamp so many times and was never inspired to use it until I saw your card. Great job with the Copics!
