S & S Sketch Challenge #70
Todays post is for the Operation Write Homes' Stars and Stamps Blog Challenge. I started with a Stampin Up Bashful Blue Card base and repeatedly stamped an image on it from SU's Fifth Avenue Floral set. Then I ran that through the Lattice Work Embossing Folder, which is also from SU. I'm not sure where my half circle designer paper is from. I added a strip of SU's Barely Banana with my sentiment on it. I topped this all off with yellow glitter in the flower centers and a heart sticker and a couple of little rhinestone gems. Thanks for spending a minute here today. See you tomorrow.

Hi Donna, I really like your card of today's sketch! The DP and the background paper you hand-made really compliment each other well. Nice accents added too. Blessings.
ReplyDeleteGreat card Donna! I agree with Louise your papers compliment each other very nicely - I like it! :)
ReplyDeleteNice and cheery -- clever how you created your base paper. I'll have to remember that when I need something and I just can't find it in my stack of paper. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteTHis one is really nice! I love those flowers stamped in the background! I made a card for the challenge but it's white and I can only get good photos of white cards with natural sunlight. At the rate we're going, I MIGHT get it posted by next week's challenge! LOL It's supposed to rain and be cloudy every single day again THIS week too! AAAck :(
ReplyDeleteLove the stamped and embossed background and the blue and yellow work nicely together. Good job with this weeks OWH sketch!
ReplyDeleteLike how you embossed the blue paper.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! I love your color combo and the little gems; it just adds a little sparkle for fun!!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Donna! I like you stamped and embossed that background! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!
ReplyDeleteLovely card! Great way to use the sketch. I'm still trying to design mine for this sketch and after looking at yours, I'm sure I want flowers of some kind on it! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, your card reminds me that I haven't made a birthday card in way too long! I love the soft colors and texture of your card!
