CAS Masculine Card

Happy June Everyone,

Today's card will be going into my next Operation Write Home box which will be going out next week. We have sent over one million cards and are now working on the 2nd million. What an accomplishment!!!! I am so proud of everyone's efforts. If you have not had a chance to make some cards for this wonderful cause, please try to set a few minutes aside to do so. You will be so pleasantly surprised to see how good you feel to know that you are helping such caring, giving families. Both the military personnel, themselves, and their families back home are so very appreciative of our efforts.
My card today is another CAS card, but I'm happy with it's overall look. I started with some green card stock that I ran through a Cuttlebug embossing folder. My image is from Lockhart Stamp Company. I colored it with Copic Markers and sponged it with SU's Crumb Cake ink while it was still in a Pinking Nestability. The sentiment is from SU's Fancy Flexible Phrases and I cut it out and mounted it with SU's punches. I thought this would make a nice general card for someone's husband, father, brother or friend. Quite often I like to just use a "Hello" or "Hi There" sentiment so it could be used for any occasion. Thank you for spending a few minutes with me today. I'll be back tomorrow. Enjoy your day.

  1. This is a great masculine card, and I love the embossing you added to the background! Great coloring, and it's really a cool image too! Nice job on this!
