S & S Sketch #75

Good Sunday Morning,
Well we are suppose to have a nice day here in southern Massachusetts today, but so far the sun has not shown it's face. I'm patiently waiting. Todays post is for the Stars and Stamps Challenge over at Operation Write Home. This was a nice easy one for me, which I needed today. I'm trying to play catch up on things, so CAS was just perfect. I started with four stips of designer paper from Basic Grey, attached them to a piece of SU's basic black card stock. I cut that out using a Zig Zag cutter just to be a little different. The card base is SU's very vanilla as is the ribbon and bow. The sentiment is also from SU (retired) and then I added 4 little rhinestones for some bling. Ten minutes all done, WHEW! I really appreciate you taking the time to stop by. See you tomorrow.

  1. Hey early bird!! Look at how fast you pulled together this cute little card! This sketch is a great way to use up those scraps of DP and I love the ones you chose for your card.
Have a fabulous Sunday whatever you're doing!

  3. Hi Donna,
I'm am still waiting for the SUN here in Northeastern, MA too and there is no sign of it!

You are super fast with your card today!! I'm behind and may go to a craft fair at my LSS, if so, I'll catch up later in the week!!

I think this will be a great card to make over and over -- especially since it's a perfect way to use scraps!!

Hoping we ALL have some sun soon....my poor flowers are all soggy from all the yukky weather and it's doing a number of my achy Fibro body too....!! :) Please bring back SUMMER!!

    Hugs,
    Lis

  8. Hi Donna - Sorry to hear you're in pain....goodness knows it's never easy to feel lousy or deal with pain! Hoping you will feel much better tomorrow....maybe we'll finally have a nice day? Maybe even a full day of sun? Imagine that!

I really find with Fibro that gardening is one of the things that kills me! I miss it a lot. I do have gardens, but most are not all perennials and I keep a few potted annuals on our deck. I would love to have many more...but it's simply too hard.

Rest and relax...and pray for better days!!

    Hugs,
    Lis
