Star & Stamps Color Challenge

Hello,

Well I'm doing good so far this afternoon. I've managed to do two postings. YAY for me!
Right now it is beautiful outside but this morning we had some down pours for a short while and I just heard that we should be getting some thunder showers around dinner time. Today over at Operation Write Home's Stars and Stamps Blog there is a Color Challenge going on. They are looking for cards made with Purple and Green for our heroes. So I started with a Very Vanilla card base that I partially ran through a Sizzix embossing folder leaving a small space on the top for my sentiment. I just felt like doing something different today so I just punched out circles from a Basic Grey paper that has both purple and green in it. I then added them to a piece of purple card stock. I ran some ribbon that I found in my ribbon box along the top and bottom of the horizontal piece of card stock. My sentiment is from A-Muse and I made some purple brads by adding some Glossy Accents to punched out pieces of paper. Off to make some more cards. See you all later. Thanks for stopping by today.

  1. This is gorgeous Donna! You know I loves me purple :) What a great way to use up little scraps of paper by punching them and making them the focus! Great job!
I hope that nasty twister didn't touch down anywhere near you earlier today! Such crazy weather this spring!!
