S & S Sketch Challenge #76

Good Sunday Morning,

I'm kind of on the run this morning, but I just wanted to quickly post a card for this challenge we are having over at Stars and Stamps Blog. I liked this sketch very much and I found it easy for me to do today. I just started with SU's Pear Pizzazz paper and embossed it using their Square Lattice Embossing folder. The designer paper is from Basic Grey matted on plain white card stock. The sentiment is from Gina K Designs set titled Love Notes cut out with a Square Nestabilites and matted on a Scalloped Square Nestabilities. That is it for me today. Gotta run outside before it starts to rain, which they are calling for this afternoon.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by today. See you tomorrow. If you are going out to watch fireworks tonight, be careful.

  1. Donna, this is terrific! LOVE that patterned paper you used and the design is wonderful. Great sentiment too.
    Have a good day.

  2. I'm amazed at how quickly you can make a card! I take forever to make mine, but deciding what to use is the hardest part! This is great, and I love that sentiment!
Don't overuse that shoulder working on that gazebo now! You take care of yourself and enjoy the holiday festivities!!

  3. Lovely card Donna! I love the maroon in the designer paper with with green!

  4. Beautiful card as always, Donna! I love the way you positioned your sentiment panel and that beautiful pear color! Thanks for joining us in this week's OWH Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge!

  5. I finally found you Donna! My gosh, I had to read through thread after Your card is lovely..all of your cards are lovely. Now following you from CMC.

  6. Nice take on this week's OWH sketch Donna. I like that you move the square slightly down and off center. It seems to have a better balance to me and if I get to do this sketch I'm CASing you for sure. I also like how you echoed the scallop by rounding the cards corners. Nice work!

  7. Lovely card, Donna. Love how you designed it.
