S & S Midweek Throw Down

A quick post today. This card is for the Midweek Throw Down over at Stars & Stamps. They have asked us to make a card using bling (but no glitter). My stamp and sentiment are from Hero Arts. I colored the image with Copics and then added both black gems and rhinestones to the flower centers as my bling. I'm not totally happy with this card, but I guess you can't always like what you produce. I'll see you again tomorrow and hopefully I'll have my MoJo back by then. Thank you for taking the time to stop by.

  1. I'm very seldom happy with what I produce - but I do love this one of yours Donna. A beautiful image and colored to perfection!

  4. What a lovely, beautifully colored wreath! I love how you added your bling, and the sentiment looks nice at the top! I always used to put my sentiments on the bottom, but lately I'm trying to switch them to the top for a different look! I like it! NJ! Here's wishing you more mojo :)

  6. Hi Donna, the wreath is very pretty and looks lovely with the bling you added. I like the senitment too and it has a great feminine font to go with the wreath. Thanks for playing in our Midweek Throwdown Challenge at Operation Write Home Stars and Stamps!

  11. This is very pretty Donna and that touch of bling is just right for the image. I love wreath designs and have several but I struggle to use them myself and I can't ever put my finger on exactly why that's the case. I totally agree that you won't always *love* every card you make (it's just part of doing any kind of creative work I think) but often we're our own harshest critics :)

  17. I love it, what a sweet image! I like the stones and pearls as centers for the flowers. Sometimes I'm not happy with how a card turned out either, but later on, I think of a final touch or something to add to the card that makes me happy with it. . . Maybe your wreath needs a pretty bow? I think that it's great just how it is. :)
