Good Monday Morning to everyone. Today I am presenting you with a card I made for the Merry Monday Challenge found here on the Always Playing with Paper blog. I am really happy that I can get this head start on my Christmas cards. Here is the sketch for this week - - -
And here is what I came up with.
All the papers are from (I think) a DCWV Christmas Pad.
The problem is that I moved so many things around in my room so many times that when I find these scraps of paper they are not always with the pads that they came in. As you can see I went a little crazy with my gold leaf pen. The sentiment and the holly leaves are both from retired SU sets. I stamped the sentiment in Garden Green ink and then I colored the holly with markers, stamped it then cut it out with a Labels Nine Nestabilities. The ribbon is also Stampin Up. I'm going to try very hard today to get to finished a few other cards for challenges. So I may see you again later on.
Thanks a bunch for taking a minute to stop by.
Beautiful Christmas card, Donna! I love the papers you used!
ReplyDeleteDonna, this is so pretty, done in traditional Christmas colors. I really do need to get in on some of these Christmas Challenges, I love doing Christmas cards and would be nice to have more than six done in December, ha ha! Very nice.

I love the touches of gold with the traditional red & green here! It's so rich looking, and I love the holly & berries accent too! Great job, and just look at you go!!
ReplyDeleteLove all the gold on this Donna! Looks to me like a very perfect Christmas card! Isn't it nice getting some done before Christmas too. Very elegant and beautiful.
