Here is my entry for this challenge.
I changed it up a bit using Nestabilities Fancy Tags instead of scallops. My sentiment is from a retired SU set and that is matted onto some Pacific Point blue cs. The designer paper is one that I made with Alcohol Inks and the card base was embossed with a Sizzix folder that I inked up first to give it some dimension. My photography leaves a lot to be desired today, sorry about that. That will do it for me today. Hope to see you again soon.Thank you so much for taking a minute to stop by and say Hello.
Great card. Love the stripes.
ReplyDeleteDonna, I just saw this sketch and have a card in mind already. Love the papers you used and that you made the sentiment the focus. What a great job with the die cut tags. I may have to CASE that on my card. Thanks for the idea, my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou blow me away with the clever ways you use your supplies! I LOVE how you used those tags to create the borders around the image! Brilliant!! I love the weathered look of the main image panel too - it's a great take on the sketch and a cool card for OWH!!
ReplyDeletegreat idea to use the tags - I sometimes have a hard time thinking outside the scallop or box or - someone will be very happy to get this card from their hero thanks for supporting OWH

ReplyDeleteHi Donna,
ReplyDeleteGreat idea ! Like you I also did not have the right punch, so I had to come up with something different. Good minds think alike!! It's also nice to see you have found a good way to spend this very cloudy and dreary day. I'm enjoying time in my craft room too!
Sending Hugs and well wishes to you too!!

ReplyDeleteHi, Donna,
ReplyDeleteHow do you always manage to get your cards made and posted so quickly?
Great card! Love the stripes. :)
wow...simple and beautiful thanks to the bright colors. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, I am a bit behind on posting - I caught a cold and I haven't been doing much except making cards. I wanted to say how much I liked your card. Sometimes the sketches don't make it through my brain, lol, and it is nice to see it made up into such a terrific card. I love those stripes and the alcohol ink paper you made.
