Sharing In Your Sorrow

Hi everyone, I'm away from home again so I've not been too good about blogging, but I wanted to share this card I made last week for a dear friend of mine.  She lost her brother but that was a blessing for him.  For some reason I did not want to use Sympathy as my sentiment so I went with this SU sentiment Sharing In You Sorrow. I'm sorry but I cannot even think of the name of the set this came from.
This card ended up to be a 5 x 5 card and I just colored the stamp with SU markers and went with my trusty Gold Leaf Pen to outline the top portion of the card and then I scored 4 lines alone the bottom to finish it off.  I'm rather happy with how it turned out and hope you enjoy viewing it.  I don't think I will get to post again for a while, till I get back home and I don't know when that will be.  I'll try to keep up with following all of your blogs though.  Forgive me if my comments are sporadic and short.

  3. This is such a beautiful card, and your friend will love it. I love the delicate tree with the soft colors you've added, and I love the sentiment you chose too! I believe the stamps are from the "thoughts and prayers set", but I'm not positive!
    I hope you're doing OK so far from home. Know that you're in my thoughts and prayers as well! {hugs}
