OWH Mid Week Throw Down

Back again with a card for Operation Write Home's Mid Week Throw Down found here.  Here is my card.

I started with a Whisper White card base and embossed it with a Cuttlebug Edge Folder.  I added some red gems for flower centers.  I cut up some red card stock in the form of thin strips and a piece large enough for the die cut heart.  I embossed that piece with a hearts embossing folder from Cuttlebug and cut out the heart with a  Sizzix die.  The sentiment is from Stampotique and I stamped it inside the negative space.  That about all I've got in me for today folks.  Thanks again for taking the time to stop by.  I truly appreciate it.

  10. Coming in late here, I'm going to have to just echo what everyone else has said. I LOVE the simple design, the embossing, the use of negative space, and hey, we both went with the same colors this week! Great minds. . . lol

I also need that heart folder. The only one I have has really large hearts. I love these because they're like the Swiss Dots. Very subtle, but a perfect accent.
