ODBD November challenge

This month the ODBD challenge over at OWH is to make a card using a technique or tool you rarely use.
I went with emboss resist which I haven't done in ages and I don't know why because I really like this technique.  I used Bashful Blue and Certainly Celery SU inks and the stamp in from Memory Box.  Sentiment is by Studio G and the gems were from my stash.  Simple and quick.  Hopefully I'll be back later on today with another posting for OWH's sketch challenge.  See you soon and thank you for stopping by.

  1. Love the look of the emboss resist and this is beautiful with that image and the blue and green! They look like fireworks in the background and with that sentiment, it's perfect!!! So lovely, Donna!

  8. Incredibly, I almost went with the same technique today too but I ended up playing with my dies instead :) I just love the soft blue & green colors with those gorgeous white blooms! They almost suggest fireworks which perfectly coordinate with that great sentiment! Well done!

  9. Funny how we move on to the next best thing, and forget about the things we already know. Love this background and the sentiment could not go better with it.
