This week's Mid Week Throw Down over at Stars & Stamps is to make a card depicting Winter Fun.
I knew right away which stamp set I was going to ink up. Both the image and sentiment is from Gina K Designs Ready,Set,Snow set.
Our heroes are always looking for Thank You cards so this sentiment along with this image just seemed perfect to me for this challenge. I colored the image with Copics and cut it out with a SB scallop rectangular die. My sponging is done with Broken China Distress Ink. I used Cuttlebug embossing folders on both the blue and silver panels. The card base and the black panel are both SU's card stock. I hope this little guy brings a smile to someone's face as he did to mine. Hopefully I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by to say hello. It's always fun to have company. Enjoy your evening.
Donna, I really like the silver on this! And the image is just way too precious. Fun and beautiful card - as always!

ReplyDeleteWhat a precious image, and you've spotlighted it perfectly with that great sponging and framework!! I've got to get on the ball and finish up a box to send before the end of the month, and I've barely made any Valentines yet! Well done, and I wish you a great week my friend :)
