S & S Sketch and ODBD Challenges

Good Sunday Afternoon Bloggers - I have two card posting here today.  The first card is for the Stars & Stamps Sketch Challenge #150.

This one gave me trouble because I had a vision in my head that was very nice, but not so in real life, so after a couple of starts this is what I ended up with. Lately every couple of weeks my mojo seems to want to take a vacation and I'm not too happy about that.

Want Ad- Donna's MoJo is desperately missed, please come back home.

This card is for the December OBDB/ OWH Challenge in which they challenged us to use flowers on our cards.
I went totally CAS here.  The flower was made by using layers of petals from Michaels and an Espirit.   The stem was from a retired SU set.  The sentiment is a fairly new-to-me single stamp from SU.  The Cuttlebug heart embossing folder, a silver brad as well as the corner punches finished this one off.
Well I'm off to hunt for my MoJo now.  Hopefully I will find it soon or maybe it will nice and just come back home on it's own.  In any case, thank you for taking the time to stop by to say Hello.
See you soon.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

But I hear ya- I also had a vision in my head--not so much on paper! lol I love the penguin and the colors in your top card! I like that sentiment from SU--may need to add it to my wish list! My mojo is getting bogged down with sugary treats- my ability to make good food choices is impacting my creativity!Another reason to eat healthy! lol

  16. Both of your cards are beautiful. I have a 'thing' for penguins so I really favor the first card. You might think your mojo is missing but I think you still have it. Your work is always a pleasure to look at.

  17. Hi Donna! Sorry about your Mojo! I think it's playing games with you because both of your cards are fabulous! Love that cute penguin and you always make such great floral cards. I have a drawer full of flowers like you used on your card, but my Mojo refuses to help me out with them. I may have to CASE your card to show it who's boss!
