S & S Sketch Challenge #149
Good Sunday Morning to all. It feels like winter here this morning, but will be going up into the 50's this afternoon and for the next three days so that will be nice. Today over at Stars and Stamps we have a sketch challenge to follow. Here is my take on it.
I have been working on Love cards this week so I thought I'd stick with that theme and this seemed like this one may work good as a masculine card. Not too much bling. The sentiment is by Katie & Co. and the paper is from My Minds Eye Meadow Lark pad. The Basic Black and Tempting Turquoise card stocks are from SU. I do hope all of you enjoy your Sunday and the upcoming week. Thanks a bunch for stopping by. I love company and comments.

Hi Donna,
ReplyDeleteBoy, this was fast!
This is a wonderful card. Love the color combos. Makes for a great masculine valentine.
Have a great week!
Donna,
ReplyDeleteI love your colors and the sentiment circle and embossed square is such a great look! I love your love card and please stay warm! Blessings, Donna
Great color combo on this one! I love the turquoise with black! I think the scored lines add such a masculine feel, but this card is great for anyone! NJ!
ReplyDeleteDonna, that's so weird! You're up in the 50's with nice weather and we're up to 80 - with nice weather!!! I really am wishing it was just a little cooler anyway! LOL!
ReplyDeleteGreat color combo and a wonderful card for a guy! AND, just the right amount of "bling" too!

I love black and beige - so elegant! The blue makes it pop! Thank so much for your wonderful comment - and for making a card for this sketch.
ReplyDeleteGreat masculine card! I think they guys will be grabbing for this one!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna! Terrific card - I love that chevron embossing and the papers/colors. The sentiment is great - I was thinking about using my new Stampin' Up! stamp that says the same thing, but wasn't sure it would be big enough. Hope you have a good day!
ReplyDeleteThe bling is the perfect touch to a great card! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Donna- another great card- and man, are you fast! lol I like your colors and paper selection and the bling- but I love how your sentiment takes center stage! And the embossing is a great touch! I look forward to seeing your cards! TFS
ReplyDeleteSimple yet elegant card! The little bit of blue and bling is a very nice touch!
ReplyDeleteVery nice card. I like the embossing lines. Nice touch.
ReplyDeleteThat's so pretty! I love the colors and the sentiment definitely deserves to be the spotlight! Funny, right as I hit post for my blog, I realized that one of my cards could really use some brads along the line of your bling. I think I'll stick some cardboard Candies on before I send it off.
