S & S Sketch #159

Good Sunday (Snowy) morning to all of you.  I hope those of you in the northeast are all fairing well.  We lost power for 18 hours and got just about 28" of snow in our yard with drifts over 4 feet, but all is well.  Today my card is for the Sketch Challenge over at Stars and Stamps. We have Carol's gorgeous card for inspiration today.  I kind of went off  the grid a bit with my design, but I'm kind of pleased with the outcome.

This is a Gina K Stamp that I colored with Copics and added black chunky glitter to the flower centers.  I sponged the image with SU's Certainly Celery and edged it with a Gold Gel Pen before removing it from the SB die.    I double punched a MS punch to come up with my strip.  The paper is a long ago designer paper from SU.  I decided not to go with a sentiment on this one as I thought it could be used for several different occasions.  I think that will do it for me for today.  I will see you again later on in the week.

  4. This is so magnificent, Donna! Love the dp and your coloring is perfection. Glad to know you've survived the worst of the storm and are back to crafting. I'm trying to convince myself that I'm over the flu but still feel the need to get lots of extra sleep. Sorry to have been MIA in my visits. :-D
