S & S Sketch Challenge #164

Stars & Stamps Blog  has given us this sketch challenge this week.  I tried to change it up a little bit so here is what I came up with.  I'm not sure I like it but maybe it will grow on me.
I started with a Penny Black image and colored it with Copics.  I made some score marks on the top and bottom just because I felt like it needed something.  I used both oval and scalloped oval SB dies for my top and bottom pieces and added flowers made with a MS Hydrangea punch and pearls from Pizzazz Aplenty.  The background paper is from Christmas Tree Shop.   I am trying to work on another card this afternoon, so hopefully I'll be back later on tonight.  Thanks a bunch for stopping by.  Your visits are truly appreciated.  Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  11. This is so cute! The ovals and pretty embellishments really enhance the card and don't take away from the cute critters being the focal point of the card. Figuring out how to create a focal point was the challenge for me with this sketch...you did a great job!
