Sunday Morning means time for our S & S Sketch Challenge found here. This one had me puzzled for a while, but I finally could vision something in my head, which doesn't always happen with me. So I went with it.
I dug out this Fiskar's stamp set that I got for a steal at JoAnn's last year and some markers along with some Tempting Turquoise card stock and designer paper all from SU. I colored the stamps with the markers before stamping them, then I added three gem stones that I found in my stash and the sentiment is by AMuse. The embossed panel is by Sizzix. Well that has to do it for me today as I need to get out in the yard then run some other errands today. Hopefully I'll get back here tomorrow. As always, I do appreciate you taking the time to stop by for a little visit. It's going to be nice here in Southeastern Ma. I hope it is where you are also. Enjoy!
Donna, pretty card and colors. Love all the white. Yard work was on our list yesterday, could barely walk by the time we got done and have more to do! Ugh...getting old stinks!

You and I were working on our cards at the same time this morning, as we're sitting beside one another in the links! Woot :)I almost went with turquoise colors too, and at the last minute decided to use teal instead! LOL
ReplyDeleteIt's great to see your card in the gallery this morning as I've missed seeing your work! I love the way you inked your stamp with different colors before stamping, and the little focal image is pretty with those flowers and notched corners!
Enjoy your Sunday, and keep on stamping my friend! hugzzzzzzzzzzz
Very nice. I like the white on white!
ReplyDeleteDonna, your vision is one of delicate beauty! I love all the white space with the hint of turquoise. Good to see you again friend, and thanks for playing!

Very cute combinations of colors and patterns.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Donna! I love your cute sketch card and your little stamp set! Adorable!
ReplyDeleteDonna - so calming and soft and very cool designs. That sketch does look a bit tricky or would be for me, but your result is beautiful! Glad you had nice weather - we had lots of rain today and the news indicates it will continue all week. Guess rain is good too - cuts down on the need to water the yard (LOL). Hugz!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna- very pretty and serene card- love it! I love that you used stamps you got on sale-sometimes those sit in my stash un-used and unloved! I love the blue against the while- lovely! So glad we had nice weather- hope it keeps up!
ReplyDeleteLove teh color combination you used - very fresh!
ReplyDeleteI always love coming to see what you've done, and wow, that is so lovely! As others have said, it's just calm and serene, and almost zen. I LOVE it!!! We've had great weather here, too. Way sunny Thursday, then light rain Friday and yesterday, then sunshine again today, which was great for the waterfront festival with dragon boat races!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card love the colors you put together on this card!
ReplyDeleteI'm always afraid of a lot white and yet you make it look so great and so easy. Your card is so very nice and soothing. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHi Donna, a very pretty card, love your sketch layout, Carole Z X
ReplyDeleteYour card is so pretty, Donna; I like the monochromatic, Japanese-art kind of feel! Glad you're finally getting some nice weather in Mass.!
ReplyDeleteDonna, what great images and such a super job with the sketch. That's a very cool combo of colors, too.
ReplyDeleteUgly and rainy weekend here. Yuck!!! No yard work for me, unfortunately.
Hi Donna, your card is really cute! I love the colors and how you used those stamps. I have some similar type of stamps and they always stump me even though I really like them. I've learned some good ideas from seeing your card! Hope you had a great day in the garden!
ReplyDeleteHi, Donna.
ReplyDeleteAlways good to see a card from you. Really like the contrasting strip that ties into the green of your focal point. Also like the treatment of the corners in that focal point. Nice job!
