Mid Week Throwdown x's 3

Hi blogger friends.  Today I have put together a card for Stars and Stamps Mid Week Throwdown challenge found here.  We need to use three of  something on our cards.

I decided to go with an Any Hero card today. Recipe is as follows.
Papers and sentiment are all from SU,
Star Dies are from SB,
Brads are from Recollections.
Embossing Folder is from Sizzix
That will have to do it for me today.  I've got a full plate and I'm hoping to get a lot of it in before the thunder storms begin.  Thank so much for popping by.

  5. Thanks for your suggestions about my "plain" looking white stars, Donna. I will try adding dashes to the poor little things. I like your stars much better ;)

  7. Hi Donna-your card is fantastic- love red and blue against craft! I am totally going to CASE this card! I know it may be a ride for you- but are you going to the Heirloom Productions Stamp Show in West Springfield- June 1 & 2nd? A budget breaker for sure- but it is great to see some companies we do not see a lot of around here.

  8. Donna, you did a great job by coordinating colors of each star's look including a brad. The embossed background looks like so many stars from the far distance that red, white and blue stars close up more. Thanks for sharing and inspiring.

  12. Donna, I've been a bit MIA the last couple of weeks but traveling has limited the time I had available to visit my fav blogs. I love this marvelous patriotic card, and your previous one with the House Mouse napping on the sunflower. Both give me great inspirational ideas for new cards. TFS, my friend.

  13. Perfect card for the challenge. Had to come over to your blog when I read on one of your comments that you are without air conditioning today too. Not fun! I'm melting, and my fingers are sticking to the keyboard...smile...(maybe more info than you wanted to know) Keep cool, so you can keep making your great cards!
