S & S Sketch Challenge #173

Here is my card for today's sketch challenge over at Stars & Stripes found here.

As you can see I took a little bit of poetic licence with this one by turning it and also adjusting the size of the focal panel.  Instead of adding an embellishment on the side, I used a SU half circle punch and then added a heart to that.  The flower is by SU and was stamped in Bashful Blue and I colored the center with a Copic marker.  The sentiment is by Gina K.  I used a Darice embossing folder that was given to me by my dear friend, Carol.  I am now thinking that I may add some Glossy Accents to the flower center.  What do you think?  Well,  I wish you all a relaxing evening.  Thanks for popping in.

  1. Beautiful card! I love how you turned the sketch vertically. And the little half circle notch with the heart is a wonderful touch. I don't think you have to add Glossy Accents, but it's always a fun addition. Great job with this week's sketch.
