Cards for Hospitalized Kids

Well Halloween is sneaking up on us faster that we think.  I managed to sit myself down this morning and make up this card for  Cards for Hospitalized Kids. This is a new organization to me and I am so happy it was brought to my attention.  I, for one, think it is a  FABULOUS idea.  Fortunately none of my children or grand children has had to spend any time in the hospital  (Thank Goodness) but I can only imagine how excited these children must get when they receive a card from a complete stranger.  Anyway here is my first card for these precious children.
I used a House Mouse image and sentiment for this one.  I colored it with Copics and cut it out with SB pinked and regular circles.  I ran one of the circles through the Big Shot with a Swiss Dot embossing folder.  The paper was given to me years and years ago by a good friend, but I could not begin to tell you who made it. (sorry).  I am hoping to get a few more cards made today. I have been in a card making funk of late, but hearing about this organization has seem to brighten my spirits up quite a bit and  found my missing MoJo.     I wish you all a fabulous weekend and thank you for stopping by.  See you again soon.

  3. This is the cutest image with such a fun sentiment, and I love that it's Halloween, but not scary at all! WTG for contributing to another great organization - it's great to have you making cards again :)

  4. That is such a great non-scary Halloween card! I think it is time for us to move in a new direction of bringing smiles. This sounds like a great organization. I will try and hop onboard just as soon as my kitchen renovation comes to an end. :)
