Midweek Throwdown - Dry Embossing

This week over at OWH the midweek throwdown is dry embossing. Here is my entry
This one went together rather quickly.  The grey strip of paper was sitting on my desk so I thought of doing a masculine card and went from there. The designer paper was in my stash.   I embossed the black panel with a chevron e/f and the grey panel with the Swiss Dot folder to play off the paper.  I just received the Memory Box "hello" die in yesterday so I thought I'd try that out right away.  I do love that die.  It cuts beautifully and I really like the font.  I chomped one top corner and added to two different sized silver dots and this one was done.  Thanks for visiting today.    See you tomorrow

  1. Oh, I love that gray and black and the wonderful paper you used. I have a couple of those die sentiments and I really like them, too. Your silver dots/brads really show up nicely. Wonderful guy card.

  8. Love the addition of the "metal hardware." It's so hard to embellish a masculine card.

  9. Fab masculine card in these neutral shades. The patterns created such texture and love the hello die. Elizabeth Craft has a nice one too, a bit smaller I think. This die was spot on for this card, and I loved the layout. TFS & stay warm.
