House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge #159

Good Monday morning.  Hope you all had a great weekend.  Our talented teammate, Tracy, has picked our theme for this week.   She has chosen  Anything Christmas.  I figured this little mousy Santa delivering some sweet candy canes would qualify.  Hope you agree.
I'm not even a fan of candy canes, but I may have to learn to like them if they are going to be delivered by this guy.  This image is titled "Candy Claus" and I colored him with Copics. Designer paper is from a retired SU! 6 x 6 pad.    The sentiment is by Craftsmart and the glittered snow was made with SU! Dazzling Diamonds.  The candy canes and poinsettia were all in my stash. For a final touch I add some rhinestones, also from my stash, and I pierced the right hand corner of my focal piece.  Please stop by the House Mouse & Friends blog to see all the fabulous creations by our talented members of the Design Team.  I realize it is a busy time of year but I'm hoping we've served up enough inspiration for you to take a few minutes and join us for our challenge.   We'd love to see your cards and we've got some great sponsors just waiting to hand out some very generous prizes.  Thanks for stopping by to take a peek.  I'll see you again soon.

  11. You really do these HM images so well! I love the different colored candy canes, and how you put this little card together! Sweet! I never liked candy canes either until I made some popcorn with them last year! They called it "Christmas Crack" because it's so addictive, and boy is it ever yummy!!

  12. What an adorable image, Donna! Love your coloring. Those candy canes just pop out of his bag. I wish I didn't like them so much -- I'm afraid they're an even bigger Christmas downfall for me than chocolate. :-D

  18. Aw, this is just as cute as can be. I think the HM have THE best Christmas stamps. I think their Christmas line is my fav of all their stamp line. You've done a fantastic coloring job and the fur looks textured too. Adorable. TFS
