First Peek Of Spring

With all the snowy and extremely cold days we've had of late I was so excited to see that Deedee Anderson had released her Spring Line of images found here.   There are several different sets and each one of them is just delightful.  If you have a minute you should pop over there right now, especially if you live in the areas of the country that have been experiencing a very long, hard hit winter.  These sets will definitely help you get rid of your Winter Slump.     The first set I've made use of is titled First Peek Of Spring.

Doesn't this little bunny peeking out of this basket of flowers just remind you that spring is getting a little bit closer?  I know it makes me feel like it is right around the corner now. I don't know who the background paper is by.  It was in my stash.   Most, if not all, of Deedee's images come both pre-colored and line drawing so you can color it yourself.    I went with the time-saving pre-colored image.  I added a  yellow gem to the center of just one of the flowers.  The sentiment is also from this set and I just added three tiny gems after sponging around the die cut piece.  The three punched flowers are made with the MS hydrangea punch and I added three pearls in the centers of those flowers.  The pink strip was embossed with a Sizzix folder.  That will do it for me today.  Thanks a bunch for stopping by and I'll see you again real soon.

Spring!!! Ah, wouldn't it be wonderful if it was here already! We're having almost spring like days here today - but suppose to get cold again on Monday!

  2. How precious! That little bunny is adorable and the pretty background paper compliments the image so well! The sentiment is one of the cutest ever! Sooner than later spring will be here, and then summer, and we'll all be complaining about the hot weather! LOL For now, I'm with you - I'm making spring-themed cards to make me feel warmer. Have a great weekend! There's more of that white stuff on the way here again tomorrow ....so what else is new? LOL
