Quite often a button falls off of a sweater or coat and I put it away for safe keeping until I have time to sew it back on. Then when I'm ready to sew, I can't remember where I put those buttons for "safe keeping" so they are lost. I always find them after a day or so (found). LOL Anyway, I went with this darling image titled "Will Knit for Friends" Isn't that little chick so adorable just waiting for his/her sweater to be finished so he/she will be all dressed like the other chicks. I colored the image with Copics then I pierced the edges of my panel and added some small red beads from Pizzazz APlenty . I placed a few hearts around the image also because there is such a look of love to this image. My sentiment is computer generated and of course I added some buttons and twine. It would be a great idea if you stopped by House Mouse & Friends today to checked out all the fantastic ideas my teammates and Guest Designers have for you in the way of inspiration. You won't be sorry, I promise you!

This is such a 'lovely' stamp theme. So sweet and I liked all you did to make such a pretty card. I liked the corners that looked like piercing, and the smoothness of the center oval where you stamped your image. The colors are so cheerful and the tiny hearts were perfect with the theme of giving. Loved your buttons too. Laughed when I read your comments. I do the same. Always find the item long after it is needed. Do that all the time!!! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteHi Donna! I was away for a few weeks so I'm glad to come around for a visit. Your card is totally adorable. I love the red, white and blue background!

This card and this image is just so sweet Donna! I love that little chick waiting patiently for it's sweater. And speaking of sweaters, I can't believe how much I wanted to reach out to feel those "sweaters"! They look like it is a real yarn being made into the sweaters, so much textures and colored so pretty! Love it! Hugs
