MWT- Scrappy Background

It's been a busy day so this will be a quick post in tonight. I tried my hand at the herringbone background for this week's  "Scrappy Backgrounds" challenge over at Stars & Stamps.

I used papers from a Carta Bella "Devoted" pad that I received as a Christmas gift this year.   My sentiment is a Cuttlebug die and the other dies are by Spellbinders.  I think that is all I can say about this one.  Wishing you all a nice evening and good day tomorrow.  Hope to see you again soon. Thank you so much for stopping by.

  8. I'd seen the herringbone on Carols cards and loved it and love it equally on yours! So pretty and love the colors you used for this. One of these days I guess I'm going to have to try it. Love the bold sentiment in the center too.

  10. Gorgeous job on that background, Donna! What a great technique! Such a bright and cheery card that would make anyone happy!
We got a lot of snow overnight and today! An additional 16-18 inches! It has been so windy and it is drifting so much it is hard to tell how much we actually got! And it is cold....below zero wind chills! I tell myself shoveling snow is good exercise!
