Happy Sunday to all of you out there in Blogland. My card today is for the OWH Sketch Challenge #216 found here. Here is my card.
I decided not to go with any sentiment on this one so instead I went with the double hearts die from Cuttlebug on an oval die from SB. I did adjust the placement of the oval a bit from the sketch. My patterned papers are from the Sweet Sorbet pack by SU!. The coral panel is also by SU and I embossed it with a Sizzix embossing folder. As you can see it used a corner punch on all the panels. I liked this one nice, easy and fun. I'm wishing you all a beautiful day and want to say thank you for taking a peek here. See you soon.
Ohhhhh, those papers are so soft and pretty - they're just dreamy!!! I love the entwined hearts that just add lots of love to this card without needing a sentiment! Great corner accents too!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the race and have a super Sunday!
Donna, wonderful job with this sketch. I really like those corners and the black is a great accent color. The papers and hearts are so pretty you don't need a sentiment. TFS
ReplyDeleteThis is a gorgeous card Donna, I love the pastel papers with the black card stock - very striking.

ReplyDeleteYou're so good at matching up different papers. I like making cards that don't need sentiments, yours is great!
ReplyDeleteHope you get some nice weather this week, spring is coming (or so I hear).....
Nice choice of papers, everything pops so nicely off the black. Really love the ticket matting and the hearts, really stands out and a bit of something unexpected! TFS!
ReplyDeleteThe hearts are so perfect! Your papers are so pretty....as always your card makes me smile. Hope you had great weekend with your family...I did! Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteI really like your paper choices as everyone else does. I looks like there's some bling on them. That salmon/peachy color at the bottom really brings it all together.
ReplyDeleteLovely use of those freebie papers from Stampin' Up! I just got mine and I can't wait to use them! -Kristal
ReplyDeleteThose hearts are great, the way they interlock. Coral is one of my favorite spring colors and your layering is awesome. The whole card just pops...no sentiment needed!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm loving the papers you chose, Donna! What a great color combo. Love the photo corner punch.
ReplyDeleteLovely DPs and colors.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and I love the softness of all the patterned paper and the entwined hearts. Fabulous.
