Up, UP & Away

Good Saturday Morning.  I am working on Cards For Hospitalized Kids and quite often when making cards for them I use Deedee's Digi Images because they are so appropriate: fun, cute, cheerful and uplifting.  Today I used an image from Up, Up & Away.  The image and sentiment both came from this set.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I used the pre-colored image today but they also come in line drawings so you can color them yourself.  The was my first attempt at making my clouds this way instead of using a template.  I think I have too many cloud because I don't think if it was this cloudy you should be up in a hot air balloon, but what can I say, I got carried away.  I also know I need a lot of practice but we all have to start somewhere and  I'm hoping the recipient will overlook my inexperience.  I used SB dies to cut out both the image and sentiment.  The background paper is from a retired SU pack and I just added a couple of stickers and I was done with this card.
Thanks so stopping by during your weekend and I wish you all a not so cloudy day.  See you soon.
  3. That turned out great Donna!
    Clouds look pretty good, and I'm sure there are that many clouds up higher in the air!
  4. I think your clouds are just great (too many? well I don't think so either, but call it artistic license!). I also think whomever receives this cute & pretty card is going to be delighted with the colorful kitty in the balloon, and be smiling to have it! Well done, Miz Donna. TFS & Hugs. Happy Wkend.
