I just love ladybugs so when Deedee came up with this "Ladybug Hugs" set I just had to have it and start playing with it. I kept it simple but did so something a little different for me.
What I did different was to print out the image and sentiment (both from the same set) directly onto patterned paper. My printer is running low on some of the inks, so I did go over the lady bug with Copic Markers just to brighten it up a little. The paper was in my stash so I'm unable to tell you who made it, sorry. It is hard to see in the picture but I ran the red strip though the Big Shot with a Swiss Dot embossing folder and the punched edges on the black strip were made using a SU! border punch. I think this card works well for either OWH or Cards For Hospitalized Kids and it went together so quickly that I will be making a bunch more of these. Thanks so much for taking a peek here today, but it might serve you well to also take a peek over at Deedee's to see some of the other newest sets she has available. You won't be disappointed I promise.
See you again soon. Wishing you a ladybug kind of day.
Donna, this adorable! I've never even thought to print out a digi on patterned paper but will in the future now. Thanks for the inspiration - and you card is just sensational! Love it!

I have a thing for ladybugs (not in the house though) and this is so cute. Coupled with the dotty background paper, looks so cool.
