MHFMC #167 Flowers & Flourishes

Good Monday Morning folks.  I am here with my card for House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.  Our Host Designer this week is Kelly and she has picked our theme which is to make a card or a project that includes Flowers & Flourishes.  Here is what I came up with.
This stamp, by Stampabilities,  is titled  "Gentle Rain".  I colored it with Copics and added some Ice White Pearl Pen for the rain drops and drizzles.  I then mounted it on a SB A2 Polka Dots die and then matted that with some Garden Green SU! card stock. The background paper is from a Sweet Sorbet pack from SU!.  I used a Cherry Lynn Flourish die in SU'! Old Olive and punched some flowers with a MS Hydrangea punch.  I also added some Pearl Pen dots into the center of the flowers.  The inside of the card, reads May Happiness Rain Down on You   which is also by Stampabilities.    I do hope you join us this week as I'm in the mood to visit as lot of blogs.  We have four great prizes for you this week, which I am hoping will also entice you to play along.

  1. This has to be one of the cutest HM cards you've ever made! Those tiny yellow flowers look so cute with that big daffodil, and I love how you colored this image - including the raindrops! This card just makes me smile - even if it's going to rain all day here :)

  2. You do such a great job at coloring the mice - I tend to struggle with it a bit. The flourish die cuts adds just enough on the side and I love the little color coordinated flowers you put on it. Great job!

  26. This card is so sweet! I love that pretty flower and then how sweet his little face is. Great sketch too. We actually had a mouse in the house this week - my husband saw him a few nights ago and then I was on the computer the next morning and he was crawling over to see what I was typing (seriously). Luckily Kenny caught him and we are keeping a close look out for any remaining family member and friends he may have been visiting with. They are sure much cuter on these stamps (but they really are kind of cute in person too - I really think he was trying to see my screen!). Hugz!
