Hi there, wow two posts in two days. I'm on a roll!!!!! I wanted to share a card I made for the June ODBD Challenge found
here. They have asked for cards using punches or dies.
I used a Sizzix heart die twice and layered one one top of the other. As you can see I did emboss the green heart with a Heart folder. The paper was from my stash and the sentiment is by Studio G that I picked up at Michaels a few years ago. I just added some back gems and a rhinestone and I was done.
I love these kinds of cards that I can get done quickly. I see multiples of this one coming in the future.
Thanks for taking a peek here in my little corner of the world and I'm wishing you a wonderful day. Hopefully see you soon.
Fabulous card Donna! Isn't it nice to be on a roll too!

ReplyDeleteWhee!! So glad to see you making cards 2 days in a row!! I really like the offset hearts, especially with a single gemstone accent! Great sentiment too! I wish we could still find those great $1 bin stamps as in years gone by! Nice job on this, and I wish you a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful card Donna, layering the heart like that makes it look really dimensional and I love the sentiment.

Wow Donna, this is a great card! I am loving that paper you used, the shadow under your heart really looks like a real shadow! Really love that sentiment!! Sorry it's been a while since I've visited, summer time chores keep me so busy! And then I had a grad in the house and that kept me busy, and now I just have to get through the wedding of our son in two weeks. Then maybe I can breathe again. lol Crafty hugs, Brenda
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and love the heart. Can you believe that I do not own a heart die? I can't! Super card Donna. Hugz!
ReplyDeleteWhat a perfect sentiment and your card is some kind of wonderful too.
