A Flowery Thanks

Good Sunday morning to all.  Hope your weekend has been going good.  It is very humid here in the Northeast, but they are calling for more pleasant weather tomorrow.  I hope they are right.  I wanted to make a card for my friend and this is what I came up with.  This is the first thing I've colored all summer long and it appears that I need to shading on my flowers.  I'll do that before I send it out.
Both the image and the sentiment are by a Gina K Designs set titled Vertical Greeting & Things. The hearts are negatives from a MS border punch and the paper was in my stash so I'm not sure who it is by.  The image is cut out with a SB rectangle die and I ran my trusty gold pen along the inside border before removing the paper.  I've cropped this picture on an angle so now the whole card looks crooked.  Well I wish you all a great Sunday and upcoming week.  Thanks a bunch for stopping in for a visit.

  3. What a pretty card with those gorgeous blooms and I love all the tiny hearts scattered about! I think that dsp is Indian Summer by Basic Grey - one of my all-time favs! It really looks pretty on your card! It's like autumn here today with cool non-humid breezes! So nice after hibernating in the a/c for the past 3 days of "hot summer weather" LOL

  4. Oh, Donna, this is wonderful! Don't you just love being able to use things like punch negatives as embellies? It always makes me feel so thrifty and clever. :-D

  10. This is so pretty, Donna! I love the vibrant colors of the flowers especially. The negative hearts make great accents, don't they? I love how versatile a punch can be in that way. I'm sure your friend is going to love this beauty!
