Deedee's Fall Warm Up
Happy Monday Morning , Hope you all had a fun weekend. I thought I'd pop in this morning with another card that I put together with one of the images from Deedee's September Digi Of The Month set.
I used a pre-colored image from this set, but colored over some spots with Copic Markers because my printer is acting up these days and will not give me a good vibrant copy of my digi's. I cut it out with a SB's A2 Polka Dot die. I sponged around the edges with SU's Certainly Celery before I removed it from the die. I backed it up with black card stock and matted all that on to SU's Cherry Cobbler card stock. I added some little gems, that I've had for years, in the corners and a strip of them under my image. I think I got them at JoAnn's, but not positive. On the inside I used one of the sentiments from this set which reads "Friendship is like a cup of cider: It warms your heart!" I just love that sentiment. Well thanks for stopping by and hope you have a fun, crafty week ahead.

Such an adorable card, Donna! Just love this set from Deedee's!
ReplyDeleteFun card...love that die and sponging!
ReplyDeleteThe sponging really made your chipmunk pop. He's just so cute. The sentiment for the inside is just great.
ReplyDeleteThis is a darling card Donna! I love that mat and I love the sponging you did too. You would have never known that your printer was on the fritz because you have covered it so well with your Copics! That sentiment is so true too. Hugs, Brenda

This is one of DeeDee's cutest images. So easy to work with, and you've done a fantastic job, love the shading to bring it more dimension. That S/B die was wonderful with this particular image, it added such a sense of fun. Liked that shading around the edges as it seemed to light up the cheeky little fella. Delightful card. TFS & Hugs
