OWH Mid Month ThrowDown

Hi I'm here today with a card I made for OWH's Mid Month Throwdown which was to make a winter Love card.  Love cards are my favorite to make to I hopped right on this one.

My image is from SNSS and is colored with Copics.  The background paper is from a winter pack from DCWV and the Card Stock is Night Of Navy by SU!.  The little blue heart is from the SU! Owl Punch and the two red hearts are negatives from a MS Heart Border Punch.  I added some Glossy Accents to his little nose and the hearts.  The Sentiment is from the Gina K Designs "Love Notes" set.  It's one of my go to sets for love cards. My final touch was Chunky White Fran-tage.  We may get a dusting of snow within the next day or so and we are also in for some very cold weather.  I was going to wish you all a nice warm day where ever you are, but I don't think there is much chance of that seeing as how most of the 48 states have temps. below normal this week.  I guess winter is really here.
Thank you for popping in.

  1. Hello Donna. Such a beautiful card, gorgeous colours and cute image too. The sentiment is just PERFECT. I love it.
    Happy crafting.
    Love Sandra xxx

  2. Beautiful, Donna!! And we are having a pretty decent day, here in Iowa. Cold but the wind isn't bad so it feels pretty good compared to yesterday!!
    Hugs, Darcy

  3. Sensational plus! Love the frantage on this and your coloring is over the top perfect!!! A fabulous card Donna!
Y'all stay warm up that way as I know it must be so cold.

  4. This is an adorable Christmas card Donna, such a cute image and I love the pretty blues.

  5. I love the way you did the Frantage, Donna! It makes terrific snow, doesn't it? Love your coloring.

  6. Oh Donna, I am loving this card! Your little bear is so sweet, love the frantage (which I had to look up to see what it was, lol) and your coloring. That sentiment is the bomb! I love it!! Yes, it is brutal here today, wind gust of 26 MPH, temps low, down to 18 tonight. It's amazing how most of the 48 states are under tons of snow and cold!! Stay warm and stay in Donna!! Hugs, Brenda

  7. What a perfect little card for the challenge! I've always loved this image and should really use it more often than I do! I love the sentiment too, and how perfect is it for this adorable card! Stay warm.........more wood on the fire please ;)

  8. Sweet Sweet image. Love the soft colors and the Fran-tage looks fabulous with this little one. So nice.

  9. Just so adorable, I love this little guy he is just the cutest. Love how the snowflakes are and the sentiment is wonderful.
    Hugs, Pat
