W2SB & Deedee's Open Again

Hello, I'm here today with my card for Words 2 Scrap By Challenge #you choose the words and also with some very good news.  Deedee's Digis is open once again.  YAY!  A lot of smaller digital image companies were forced to close due to the European VAT tax but I guess they worked it all out and found a way to reopen the stores that were affected.
These days everything seems to be # this or # that so the girls over at W2SB  decided we should hop on the band wagon and make our own # remarks. So here is what I did.

I used a pre-colored image from Deedee's Happy Healing set . I cut it out with  a SB square die and sponged SU's Bashful Blue all around before I removed it from the die.  The sentiment is also from the same set and I added the # sign.  No matter how many times I've taken this picture this morning, the sentiment seems to come out blurry.  I apologize for that.  The mats are Basic Black and the background paper is from a Winter Pack by DCVW.  I added a piece of SU! ribbon and a MS border punch and I was done.  Very busy day today so the pre-colored image really came in handy.  Head on over to W2SB to see all the interesting made up #signs and join in on the fun.     Super cute and just perfect for telling someone to get well! Love the way you sponged around that image too.

    Oh, Donna, this is just soooo sweet! Love what you did with Deedee's image. Isn't it wonderful that she was able to find a way around having to close? I'm so tickled. I'm back from all my holiday travels and am trying to catch up on all the posts over the last couple of weeks.     Donna, I was so happy to get the email that DeeDee had found a way to stay open. Love the card you've done using this so cute image, and love the blue look. That pretty border really set this card off so well. You can keep the snow up your way, thank you very much! I hope your Christmas & New Year holidays were super special and that you kept to your resolve to not overdo. Looking forward to seeing more designs from DeeDee's, and now that I have my CCC obligation done, I need to get cracking and do some for DeeDee too! TFS & Hugs.

    What a cute idea for the sentiment on this card! I've been trying to come up with a # (???) sentiment to play in that challenge, but nothing's hit me yet! I just got back from visiting Mary Anne and she got a new alpha die set that includes a # and I said "Oh my gosh, I NEED this!!! LOL Fun get well card, and it sure is great to see you making cards again :) Have a great week ahead!

    What a great image, and wonderful get well card.. So glad for these small businesses that something got worked out so they could stay open. Refreshing to know that not just in the US are they always squeezing the small guy...
