A Retirement Card

Happy Friday - I do hope you are all doing OK.  I am here to share a card with you that I made for a friend of mine that is retiring in March.  I actually worked with her for quite a few years before I retired myself last year.
The image is from Gina K and it its titled Dogwood.  I colored it with Copics and added some black Chunky Glitter to the flower centers. It is cut out with SB Oval and Scalloped Oval dies.  The punch is from SU! and I was in a bit of a hurry when I made it.  I was hoping to line up the scallops but I like the way it came out better this way. Let's hope I can duplicate that look in the future.  The card base is SU! Whisper White and the pattern paper is by Bo Bunny.  I rounded the bottom corners and just added a three little gems from Pizzazz APlenty and I was done.   Thanks for your visit and I wish you all a good weekend.

    Lookin good, Donna! The flowers are so pretty, and I just wish this card was for my retirement! Long way to go, for me. :(

    What a gorgeous retirement card! I just love those colors and pretty flowers, but that punched border looks amazing! Mistake or non-intentional - it looks fantastic! Retirement rocks!

    Beautiful dogwood blossoms, Donna, and I am sure the retiring friend will love it. Your scallops look so pretty and I thought that was the way it was supposed to punch. Love the colors and the card is super.

    Beautifully done, Donna! Love the rounded corners at the bottom and the punch you used. I have that stamp and haven't used it in waaaay too long. Will have to dig it out now, after seeing this. :-D
