CSSC #1

I'm here today with some nice news.  Leslie Hanna from The Crooked Stamper has decided to start a  Challenge Blog titled Crooked Stamper Sketch Challenge and I'm happy to participate in it.  Her first sketch is quite nice and I had fun making a card with it.  I thought this would make a nice guy card for Operation Write Home.

I stamp my image in VersaMark and then embossed it with Detail White powder.  My next step was to sponge Tumble Glass Distress  Ink over the embossed image.  I stamp my sentiment in black ink to make it stand out.  I just added three silver stickers.  I went with stickers rather than brads to help keep it nice and flat for mailing.  The designer paper is by SU!, long time retired.   That will do it for me, but I would like to thank you for stopping by.

  17. Can you tell I'm playing catch up on my visits, Donna? I don't know how my schedule got so full but I'm buried with way too many 'vital' things to do. Maybe I wish it would snow out here on the West Coast so I'd have to stay home. No matter. I'm here now and I just love this wonderful masculine card. I love sea gulls and your color combo is perfect for the white image.
