February ODBD Challenge

Happy Saturday to you all.  We are sitting waiting for our next snow storm which should begin late tonight/early tomorrow and last until Monday night or Tuesday morning.  We are right on the divided line for amounts of snow so we could get anywhere from 4-15 inches of snow.  We'll just sit back and see what we get.  We have plenty of wood, food and crafting supplies, so it will be fine no matter what we get.  I'm sharing a card I made for the ODBD February Challenge for Operation Write Home.   This month they would like to see cards with animals on them.  This image one of  Sleikje's freebees and I've had it a couple of years.  I just think it is cite as anything.
I have used two different Washi tapes along the side and embossed the rest of the card stock with the Swiss Dot folder.  I colored the image with Copic markers and cut it out with a SB die.  I colored a piece of white card stock  with a Copic marker to get it as close to the green on the tape and matted my image with that.  The sentiment is by SU!  Thanks a bunch for your visit. I always appreciate it.

  7. How sweet with the little birdie on top of that pile of hearts. Pretty Washi tape, too. The card is just adorable.

Holy Smokes.....possibly 15 inches of snow? Well, that is a wide range so maybe you won't get so much. That is, if you don't want it. I'm thinking you have probably had all you want this year. It was 67-69 degrees here yesterday and my daffodils are up. They always bloom in mid-to late February. It won't be so warm this week, though.

  10. Sweet card ! The polka dot EF looks like snowflakes falling on the bear leaving tracks in the snow.

  12. Sorry about the snow :( It is 85 degrees in SoCal today and my roses are blooming. This card is so sweet, as are the others above it. Great tip about coloring the outer edges of white CS to match an element!
