OWH Sketch #252

Happy Monday Morning to you all.  I'm here today with the sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home.  This was a nice sketch to work with. Here is my take on it.

I don't know why but my color is off on this picture.  The card base is Very Vanilla by SU! and yet it has a pink tone to it.  No pink here at all, trust me.  I think I'll call this my stash card because just about everything was from my stash: the paper, the flower the blue card stock (don't know who it was by-sorry) and I even had the left over ric rac punched pieces in my stash.  I printed the sentiment from the Gina K set titled "Vertical Sentiments".  I just love that set.  Now that I look at it on the screen I think I may add three more tiny pearls with the sentiment (top middle bottom) what do you think?   Thanks for popping in today.  I always appreciate the company.  Wishing you a good week.

  6. I think it's beautiful just as is but you could always add the pearls just to see if you liked them on this. It's so pretty though with those pretty colors. The ric rack looks great behind the focal point of the card too! Love the horizontal sentiment.

  7. I love this card Donna and your take on the sketch!! Yes, it does look pink in the picture, funny how that happens but it always seems to change the colors when we photograph our cards. I don't think you need the extra pearls, but if you think you would like them, then by all means put them on there. I like odd numbers best, but try it out and see what you like. Hugs, Brenda

  12. This is such a pretty color combo. One I never think to try, but when I see it, I think it's pretty. Love that you got to use a lot of Stash stuff, and your take on the sketch is great. Loving that vertical sentiment, and you could experiment with the pearls, see how you like it. I think it's fine as you have it, and the flower is lovely. TFS & Happy wkend. Hugs

  18. I just love this color combination, and I see no evidence of pink here on my screen! I really like that single pearl in the center of the flower, and I'd leave it as is. It's a great way to use your stash, and a wonderful take on the sketch! Well done!
