I started this one by rubbing yellow and pink Distress Inks onto my craft sheet and spritzing water on them and then placing my white panel down on them. Then I decided to add some dots with an older Outlines Rubber Stamp with a light brown ink. I stamped the Hero Arts sentiment in black and cut everything out with SB dies. I added a flat white bow onto the oval. I used some retired SU! paper and embossed the pink and designer paper with a Swiss Dot folder. That's about it for me today. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the evening.
I never realized that the pink and yellow spritzed together could make such a pretty color. Love the added dots too! VERY pretty card Donna.

Very pretty, I like the soft background for the sentiment~
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to CASE this one, Donna. I need to make a dozen "Thank You" cards for a non-profit agency doing a fund raiser this week. I'm on the Board and we always send out cards to our volunteers who donate their time and efforts to answering phones and processing donations. This beautifully simple design will work so perfectly!
ReplyDeleteWonderful way to color up the panel - it is my favorite way to color things these days and yours came out beautifully. Great Thank You card! Hugz
ReplyDeleteThat is a great CAS thank you! Hope you had a wonderful weekend!
ReplyDeleteLovely thank you, and the Distress Inks blended so beautifully on the oval - really liked the addition of the stamped brown dots too. And the flat grosgrain ribbon bow is _so_ pretty. Just the right trim. The colors of the oval mats go so nicely with the ink colors and the pretty dp background. Great CAS card. TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteReally beautiful card, Donna! That technique looks great on your design! Have a wonderful weekend! :o)
