W2CB New Beginnings

I'm here to share a card that I made for Words 2 Craft by Challenge.  They are looking for a card or project that represents a new beginning.  I made a card reflecting a new friendship (snowman and bird) - LOL),   We got a few inches of snow the other day and are slated for a good sized snow storm this weekend so my mind went to snowmen.

The image is titled Bring It On Snowman by The Stamping Boutique.   I haven't colored an image in months so I'm quite rusty.  I added the Frantage  to cover up some booboos.  the paper is retired SU! and the sentiment was made using two different stamps from an older SU! set.  I punched out the circles and used a SB scalloped die for the last circle. The sky is sponged with Bashful Blue by SU.   I imagine I will look something like this snowman this coming weekend, shovel in hand and covered with falling snow.  As long as I don't have to drive in it I'm fine.  Thank you for dropping in on me today.  Have a great evening.

  1. A super card Donna, such a fun snowman and lovely plaid papers.

  2. Donna,

This little snowman and his new friend are absolutely adorable -- and a perfect new beginning image for our first W2CB challenge of the year!

You mentioned you're out of practice coloring. Well, you sure could've fooled me. I think you've done a fabulous job! Thanks so much for joining us at Words 2 Craft By.

We're supposed to be getting quite a bit of snow here, too. As for shoveling this weekend, just be sure to not overdo... and try to stay warm. :)

    1. Donna, Forgot to mention that we are randomly selecting one linked entry AND one follower to receive MFT gift certificates. Not sure if you do much blog following, but wanted to let you know about this chance to win. :)

Thanks again for playing along with us at W2CB.

  3. Frantage is so great for covering boring spots or boo boos. I forget about it but I love it. Your snow is awesome and I love that cute image! Sweet card!! Stay warm. Hugz

  4. What a cute little roley-poley snowman, and I LOVE the green plaid dsp! Frantage is something I've never tried, but it looks great here on this wonderful snowman card! Stay warm - we're expecting the white stuff too :)
