Dogwood

I have a friend that just moved.   She lives alone and has a very small family therefore she doesn't receive too many cards so when ever I send her one she puts it up in the living room, so I thought it would be a good idea to match the colors of her room.  I used SU! So Safron and Cherry Cobbler which matches just about perfectly.
First off let me assure you that I have not been drinking this morning, I just can't take a straight picture, I guess.  LOL  I used Gina K's Dogwood stamp and colored it with Copics. It is backed up with a SB circle die and a Cherry Lynn doily die.    The paper is retired from SU . I thought it looked all right without a sentiment so I just wrote a note inside wishing her the best of luck in her new home.  I'm heading over there now to help put things away so I'm keeping this post short and I hope to get around to visit tonight or tomorrow morning.  Thanks for taking a peek into my little corner of the world.  Appreciated very much.

  8. We have dogwood trees, so this is a particular flower here that I love. YOur coloring is marvelous, and the color combo is so rich - especially love the doily mat behind this lovely bloom. Good for you at having a friend who appreciates your cards. I display on the mantle the ones I am lucky enough to get. It makes me feel happy each time I see a handmade card. It's special to receive one! TFS & Hugs

  9. Donna, what a thoughtful person, kind person you are, and I know that for a fact as I have been on the receiving end of that thoughtfulness. What a pretty card for her to open and enjoy and then adorn her new house with.
