First off let me assure you that I have not been drinking this morning, I just can't take a straight picture, I guess. LOL I used Gina K's Dogwood stamp and colored it with Copics. It is backed up with a SB circle die and a Cherry Lynn doily die. The paper is retired from SU . I thought it looked all right without a sentiment so I just wrote a note inside wishing her the best of luck in her new home. I'm heading over there now to help put things away so I'm keeping this post short and I hope to get around to visit tonight or tomorrow morning. Thanks for taking a peek into my little corner of the world. Appreciated very much.
Hi Donna! Love the coloring on this flower - so pretty! Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Donna! I love that dogwood flower and you have colored it up so pretty! How sweet of you to make this woman some cards and then to make one that will match her room is perfect. I love that you are helping her to put things away too. I'm sure she appreciates your help as well. You are a special lady! Hugs, Brenda

ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet friend you are, Donna! I'm sure she cherishes your cards no matter what the design and coloring, but to have you make one that matches her decor is even more special!! It's so pretty! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteLove that flower, Donna! You are sure to put a smile on you're friends face!
ReplyDeleteWe have dogwood trees, so this is a particular flower here that I love. YOur coloring is marvelous, and the color combo is so rich - especially love the doily mat behind this lovely bloom. Good for you at having a friend who appreciates your cards. I display on the mantle the ones I am lucky enough to get. It makes me feel happy each time I see a handmade card. It's special to receive one! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeleteDonna, what a thoughtful person, kind person you are, and I know that for a fact as I have been on the receiving end of that thoughtfulness. What a pretty card for her to open and enjoy and then adorn her new house with.
