Good May Morning,
WOW the beginning of a new month already. Today's card is for the Sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home's Stars and Stamps. This week was a rather simple sketch, for me anyway. We are looking for more cards for Father's Day or Dad's in general so this is what I came up with. I started with a SU Night of Navy card base and ran the bottom portion through the Big Shot using the Cuttlebug Diamond Plate embossing folder. The designer paper is from my stash. I used a piece of Wild Wasabi card stock and cut that was out with the SU Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. The sentiment was computer generated and cut out and matted on SU's Tag punches. That's it for me for now, but hopefully I'll be back later with another post for the day.
First I have to work in the yard a bit.
This is really an easy sketch isn't it? Great sentiment and choice of DP. I made 6 already this morning since they need more "dad" cards. I like a good challenge, but sometimes an easy one allows us to make more cards. Gotta love that!
