Good Morning All,
Today's post is for the Sketch challenge over at Operation Write Home's Stars and Stamps Blog. I'm in a Christmas mode this morning and I don't know why. It is a beautiful summer - like day here today. This card went together in just a few minutes, which is good because I also have a couple of birthday cards to make before the afternoon is over. My papers and card stock are all from Stampin Up. The sentiment is also from SU. It has been retired for years but I love the font so I use it quite often. I embossed the white piece of card stock with the Cuttlebug Swiss Dot embossing folder and I used a gold pen to edge the white and red pieces. Added a couple of rhinestones. I cannot seem to get this one to photograph correctly so they don't even look like rhinestones. (sorry) Looking forward to seeing other challenge cards today. Enjoy your day and I hope to see you tomorrow.
CAS and wonderful!! LOVE the script on that sentiment too....and it's just the right size. Great card for Christmas.

This is so pretty Donna, and I too love that sentiment stamp! It looks great embossed with white on red, and I love love LOVE how you edged the panels with gold! What a decorative and fancy look! Beautiful job on the sketch challenge!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, love the dots.
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Donna! I thought this sketch was great, so easy to use up little bits of fancy papers aand to use a big sentiment that doesn't always fit with a stamped image.
ReplyDeleteSuper pretty card, Donna! :)
