As you can see I deviated from the sketch by not adding an embellishment but I got this far and was satisfied with it as was so I stopped right here. I saw my designer paper and thought I need to do a guy card with these colors so I went real simple and to the point here. The papers and card stock are SU! and the sentiment is by Katie & Co that I've had it for years. The heart border stamp is by Hero Art, another oldie but a good for me. I colored both pieces with SU! markers before stamping them because I wanted to two tone look. Well I'm off to make more cards, maybe I'll get anther one posted today.
I love your subtle colors and the stamp is a great one to use for all kinds of cards.
ReplyDeleteGreat colors and I really like that heart border stamp... good multi-purpose stamp for a Valentine or just to express love for someone.
ReplyDeleteSounds as if you're in a crafting mood. Good for you and have fun.

Lovely colors and stamping! tfs!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving your color choices for your two-tone card. Simply beautiful. Keeya gets treats everyday. She is coming along, still has her moments and still eating anything that is paper!!! But you know we love her anyway! Enjoy the rest of your day.

ReplyDeleteDonna, I LOVE this card. The papers are so pretty, the border stamp is so yummy, and your interpretation of the sketch is spot on! And, thanks so much for the kind words you left for me.
ReplyDeleteThose falling hearts are so delicate and pretty - I just love the way you colored them! I love those great dsp's from SU! too - and I love the color scheme you used! The sketch I got didn't even show that round embellie, so I omitted it too! LOL
