Today's challenge over at OWH is a sketch challenge found here. While deciding what to do I came across this piece of paper in my stash. It was not quite the exact size but I do love the colors and the pattern so I didn't want to cut it any smaller, so I went with it and adjusted my measurements accordingly.
The colors in this paper are more maroon then they appear here. I used some SU! ribbon and the sentiment is also from SU!. The hearts are negatives from a MS punch. I think I'll make some more card using this sketch with the proper measurements as it was a fun, easy sketch to work with.
Here's wishing you all a great day. Thank you so much for popping by for a little visit. Back to the drawing board for now.
That really is gorgeous paper and it made a beautiful card. Love the little hearts.
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful Donna! I don't blame you for not wanting to cut this DSP. I love seeing how others alter the sketch to work with what they have. Love the red hearts and ribbon too!
ReplyDeleteThat paper is lovely!

That looks like some of my long-adored BG Indian Summer dsp, and it is gorgeous! I love that you allowed the paper to take the spotlight and just added the simplest of embellishments to make this wonderful card! NJ on this one!!
ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful, Donna! I love that paper! I think I may have a piece stashed somewhere. I'm going to have to go check and put it to good use!
