The paper is from a pack of paper that I got at Christmas Tree Shop and I think I will be using it often in the coming weeks and months because it has a lot of cute papers for younger recipients.
The sentiment is by CC Rubber Stamp Company and it was cut out with SB dies. I layered two glittered flowers with a brad in between my two pieces of ribbon just for some added jazz. This card will be going to Cards For Hospitalized Kids. I wish you all a great night and wonderful week ahead. Thanks for taking a peeking into my little card making world. I always enjoy your company and comments.
What an uplifting sentiment for this card, Donna, and the paper so pretty. Certainly will cheer up a child.
ReplyDeleteI don't know what my oldest ribbon would be and I would probably hate it now....yours looks great. Maybe you could send bucks for some new ribbon since you didn't donate to my other cause. LOL
You know, I saw your post earlier today and clicked on it several times but it would never open. Glad you got it re-posted.
See there you go again asking me to contribute to the delinquency of a crafter. I'm sure that is a highly punishable offence. LOL
DeleteLove that wonderful patterned paper. WOW. Such a pretty, pretty card and a great sentiment too. I still have some of that same ribbon - and still love it.

I still have a half-spool of this ribbon left too, and maybe one day they'll bring back that gorgeous blue card stock color again! I love the glittered flower, and especially that perfect sentiment! Some child will surely be happy to hear that he/she is the best! Sweet card, wonderful cause!
ReplyDeleteMy first ribbon was this same ribbon in certainly celery. I think I bought every color but the one you have here and I think I still have them all. Great papers and lovely card my friend. Hugz!
ReplyDeleteI like how you've added the flowers to the strips of ribbon. Also, I may or my not have every color of grosgrain ribbon SU has made. *ahem*
